Looking for adventure and partying but unfortunately weather isn't great in Buenos Aires which is where I'd like to go - not if its going to be relatively quiet and cold though. Meeting friends in San Fran on 23rd July so have 3 weeks to play with. Open to any suggestions on what would be a good itenary in South America.

Hi Doyley, welcome to the forums.
Thought I'd throw a couple of suggestions for you to consider bearing in mind you said adventure & partying.

Mancora....this is a party town by the beach in Peru still a little raw,still a bit on the small side.You can go kite-surfing during the day or trekking & horseback riding through the jungle.At night, some nights are like a saturday night with parties in the club areas or on the beaches.

Montanita Ecuador is a meeting place nightclubs from wednesdays to saturdays and some excellent parties. About one hour away is Puerto Lopez where you can take a tour and see the whales ( the season is july to nov )

Banos Ecuador for white water rafting,kayaking & mountain biking also has an entertainment district with bars, nightclubs & karaoke. Not forgetting of course, Ruta de las Cascadas.

Brazil also seems like a good place to hang out.
